Protection of minors

To create an Xpress account, you must have reached the age of majority applicable in your country of residence. That age is not the same everywhere: it is set by national law, and we apply the law of the country from which the service is used.

We do not offer a version intended for children and do not knowingly collect their data.

Where the applicable regulation so requires, processing the data of a person below the age of majority is subject to the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

A parent may at any time request access to their child’s data, its correction or its erasure. Such requests are handled as a priority, and we do not require the child to be informed beforehand.

Every product listed carries a mandatory declaration stating whether it is intended for an adult audience. A seller cannot publish without answering: omission is refused, and never becomes an implicit “all audiences”.

This covers in particular alcoholic beverages, tobacco and related products, adult items, and any goods whose sale is subject to an age condition.

We then use your date of birth to hide those products everywhere they could appear: catalogue, search, recommendations, shop pages, conversational assistant. The filter is not limited to a single page.

Without a date of birth on file, those products are hidden. We cannot establish that the age condition is met, and the absence of information is not authorisation. This is a display restriction, not a penalty: adding your date of birth to your profile lifts it.

The filter relies on a declaration, not on identity verification. It prevents accidental access and satisfies our display obligations; it does not claim to make fraud impossible.

Where regulation requires enhanced verification, supporting documentation may be requested at the time of the order. A knowingly false age declaration engages the responsibility of its author and may lead to account closure.

If you believe that someone below the required age holds an account, or that inappropriate content is accessible, write to us stating what you observed and where.

We handle such reports as a priority and remove without delay any manifestly unlawful content.
